Before The Foot Falls
October 21, 2009Simple. Searching. Scented path. Over leaves.
Repeat.
Focus…..Focus…….It’s crawling. Senses.
Head moving back and forth and back and forth.
Swaying.
Found.
Follow others.
Straight. Must not waiver.
Strength in many.
Searching all alone.
Choose path. Focus…adhere to faith.
Natural.
Instinctual.
Around the tiny pebble. Careful. Cautious. Dangers in the tiniest distance.
Tired legs. Strong legs.
Tempted by sweet aroma. Tempted by the odor of man.
Resist.
Duty calls. Selfless. Feed the mound. Feed the mound.
Danger…a careless child.
Danger…a curious child.
The shadow comes, then nothing.

Spider Morning
October 15, 2009Why does the spider have to make its web between the house and the tree? Doesn’t it know I take out the garbage at 6 am in the morning? (By the way, I believe running face first into a spider web in the dark when you’re half asleep is a much more powerful stimulant than coffee)

Money Slave
May 23, 2009Is it possible to be a human being today and not be a semi-selfinduced financial slave? Money makes people do crazy things. I mean CRAZY things that you don’t even realize you are doing until it is too late. Why do we need to own “things”? I sometimes think the caveman/woman had it made. Except for the part about dying at the age of 21 and living in constant fear of being chased by wild animals.
